At Caring Professionals, we take pride in offering competitive rates of pay that demonstrate our commitment to supporting our dedicated Caregivers:

For those in New York City, the hourly rate is $20. In Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester, you can expect a generous rate of $19.5 per hour. As of January 1, 2024, in the outer counties, the standard rate is $16 per hour, with an increased rate of $17.55 per hour.

At Caring Professionals, we invite you to explore the benefits of our outstanding Paid Time Off (PTO) program, designed with your well-being in mind:

You’ll earn 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours worked, allowing you to accumulate an impressive 70 hours of PTO each year. What’s more, you have the flexibility to carry over up to 40 hours of unused PTO into the following year, with any surplus thoughtfully converted into a valuable year-end payout.

For eligible Personal Assistants (PAs), there’s an exclusive opportunity to earn an additional 24 hours of PTO annually.

Caring Professionals offers life insurance for qualified CDPAP PAs with a coverage amount of $25,000. This coverage includes valuable features such as an Accelerated Benefit, which allows you to access a portion of the insurance benefit in the event of a terminal illness, providing financial support when it’s needed most. Additionally, our insurance provisions are portable, allowing you to carry your coverage with you even if you change employment or leave the company. Lastly, the Waiver of Premium provision ensures that in the unfortunate event of a disability that prevents you from working, you won’t have to pay further premiums, guaranteeing the continuity of your coverage.

Caring Professionals offers group accident insurance for CDPAP Caregivers, providing coverage for a range of situations, including emergency care, fractures, X-rays, and dislocations. Our insurance is designed to ensure your well-being and peace of mind in unexpected situations.

Financial peace of mind to caregivers during unexpected health set backs. Allows caregivers to focus on their recovery. 

Caring Professionals offers Family and Medical Leave for eligible individuals. You can access up to twelve (12) weeks of unpaid leave for specific family and medical reasons during any rolling twelve (12) month period.

We understand the importance of flexibility and support during challenging times, and our Family and Medical Leave program is designed to provide you with the necessary time off when you need it most.

 

Caring Professionals offers Paid Family Leave (PFL) to eligible employees, providing the following benefits:

PFL provides eligible employees with paid leave for up to eight (8) weeks, which increases to ten (10) weeks on or after January 1, 2019, and further increases to up to twelve (12) weeks on or after January 1, 2021, within any 52 consecutive week period. The determination of the 52 consecutive week period is made retroactively with respect to each day for which PFL benefits are currently being received.

We recognize the importance of supporting you during family-related events and providing the flexibility you need to balance work and personal life.

Caring Professionals offers Additional Military Family Leave Entitlement, which includes Injured Service Member Leave. This provision ensures that eligible employees can take leave to care for family members who are injured service members.

We support our employees during military-related circumstances, and we are committed to providing the necessary leave entitlements to help you when you need it.

Caring Professionals offers Bereavement Leave for both full-time and part-time employees. In the unfortunate event of the death of an immediate family member, employees are entitled to receive up to two (2) days of paid leave per year.

Immediate family members are defined as: spouse, children, parents, brothers, and sisters. In cases where additional time is needed, employees have the option to take unpaid leave.

Caring Professionals supports the well-being of our female employees who are new mothers. Our policy ensures that we provide a reasonable amount of break time to accommodate a female employee’s need to express breast milk for her infant child.

Caring Professionals encourages civic participation by offering voting leave. Not only as it is a social responsibility but also to empower our people. 

This benefit allows caregivers to donate blood without financial loss, reflecting the company’s commitment to both employee and community well-being.

In accordance with state law, the Agency will grant employees up to twenty-four (24) hours of combined leave to donate bone marrow and to recuperate. Employees may use any accrued paid time off for this purpose or take the time as unpaid.

If you are summoned to jury duty, the Agency will pay you $40 per day for the first ten (10) days of jury service

Caring Professionals offers a Health Insurance Subsidy for qualifying CDPAP PAs. Eligible individuals can receive up to $395 per month in reimbursement to support their health insurance coverage.

Additionally, for those who qualify, a third-party company will assist them with enrollment in qualifying health insurance plans through the marketplace.

We are committed to helping our dedicated CDPAP PAs access the health coverage they need, and this subsidy is designed to provide valuable support.

Caring Professionals offers a convenient daily pay service for our CDPAP Caregivers. This service allows Personal Assistants (PAs) to access their earnings immediately upon completing their shift. It also provides them with the ability to easily track their daily income.

We realise the importance of financial flexibility and transparency, and our daily pay service is designed to empower our caregivers with control over their earnings.

Caring Professionals offers Pay Cards to ensure that our CDPAP Caregivers have easy access to their wages. In the event that a Personal Assistant (PA) does not have a paycard, their wages are deposited into an account that they can conveniently access using the paycard.

We prioritize making the payment process seamless and accessible for our caregivers, and our Pay Card system is designed with their convenience in mind.
